Start
The Start block is the first thing people see. It holds your form's title, a welcome message, a banner image, your colours, and the rules for when the form is open and how many responses it accepts.
What your respondent sees
A title card at the top of the page: your banner (or a thin coloured bar if you have no banner), the title, and the description under it. If you turn on Show how many are left, a "N left" label appears next to the title. The questions follow below the card.
Connections
- No input. Nothing connects into Start.
- One output, at the bottom. Drag it to the first block of your form.
- Every form has exactly one Start block. You can't delete or duplicate it.
How to set up the Start block
- Click the Start block on the board.
- In the panel on the right, change Title and Description text.
- Optional: choose a banner under Poster Banner Image and drag to position the crop.
- Click Use this crop.
- Set the Page Background Color and Accent Color.
- Optional: set Opens at, Closes at or Limit responses.

When you upload a banner, GrabUrPass suggests matching colours. It applies them for you only if you haven't picked colours yourself. A warning appears if your accent colour is too light to read white button text, or too close to the background.
Example: a workshop with 30 seats
- Set Title to "Saturday pottery workshop".
- Turn on Limit responses and set Maximum to 30.
- Set Each response counts as to your "How many seats?" Number question. Set Most per response to 4.
- Turn on Show how many are left and set Message when full to "Sorry, all seats are taken."
If someone asks for more seats than are left, they see "Not enough left" and "Only N left." Seats are held for a short time while a person fills in the form (about 2 minutes, or 20 minutes for a paid form).

Common mistakes
